Let the 50th birthday celebration begin!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!! Can you say "Best day ever"??? Let's start at the beginning. The usual...Worked. Yogurt for lunch with 2 coffees. Had to save my points for dinner. Bossmen took me out for my 50th birthday celebration! We went to Abe & Louies. Only the best steak house ever!!! Here's a photo of me and bossman. (as previously reported in earlier blog posts...) We have worked together since 1985. We're very lucky to have found each other and to have built the relationship we have. I would do anything for him, and I have! LOL...and he would do anything for me. (I'm pretty sure!)

But it's my blog! :)"...All about me."Anyway, he's littler bossman cause he's only been around for the past 10 years. (New kid! LOL) Gregg and I took a while to warm up to each other but I'd say we now have a genuine love for each other. (Also, posted in a previous blog...) Gregg and his wife Carolina are very important to me. Love them both to pieces.

This little cutie is my bestie Katie! We met a year ago at the office and immediately hit it off. Katie has definitely gone from work friend to awesome life friend. That's how I met Jenn, so I can tell the difference between a work friend and a real friend. Katie is a real friend. Love you girl!

I received so many fabulous gifts tonight! (I love birthdays!) First the evening started off with the most delicious food ever...We had the most delicious buffalo mozzarella, with campari tomatoes, fresh basil and a balsamic drizzle. The cheese was like pound cake, the tomatoes were like sugar cubes, the drizzle was like caramel. It was the best thing ever!

Next were the entrees. I had the yummiest ever bone in filet mignon, medium rare of course, with blue cheese crumbles, grilled asparagus, sautéed spinach with mushrooms and sweet potato fries. (Not pictured) OMG. To die for!!!

After the scrumptious morsels, I was presented with the most amazing array of gifts!

First I opened a gift from Gregg and Carolina. Just off the bat I was excited! Don't all girls like the little blue Tiffany bag? ...even if there's nothing inside??? I do!!! Well, lucky for me, inside was an even better surprise!!! They gave me an amazing sterling silver Tiffany necklace. Hello beautiful!!! Come to Mama! LOL Love it!!!

Then there was more... Katie gave me a huge bag filled with

unbelievable goodies!!! First box I opened was a pair of TORY BURCH sandals. Hello! I am only the biggest Tory Burch freak around. Love my awesome chocolate brown flip flops, with the pink and tan leopard foot beds!!! ...but wait…there's more... Charley tell us what else Randi's gotten today... OK Alex, inside the birthday bag was ...a beautiful crystal heart bracelet purchased on the family's latest trip to the Florida Keys!!!! Gorg! But wait, there's still more....... The birthday girl has also received a hand carved cameo direct from Pompeii, Italy! Straight out of the Torre del Greco region in Naples! WHOA. Only a dream come true for a major cameo collector like myself!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!!!

We had wine, and chocolate cake. Birthday songs and laughter! If I could have changed anything…I wouldn’t have! There's nothing better than good friends.

It was a perfect night. Surrounded with good friends, laughter and love. I love you guys! Thank you for making this the best birthday ever!!!

We had the nicest dinner.
