Busy Sunday.

Woke up in time for Hot Yoga! Yay! 10:30 class. Had Matt as my Yogi. Love him. Matt and Diana are my faves. They really are awesome teachers. Guides. After Yoga I went to Dunkin' for a nice hot hazelnut-light and sweet yummy cafe! ...and an egg white sanny. This is the life! After Dunkin, went to the nail salon. Got my fingers and toes done. Ready for the week. After nails I went to the local bagel shop and got a dozen bagels and 1/2 pound of tuna, chicken and egg salads for Suz. She finally lifted the quarantine and is allowing visitors to meet the baby. Isabella Rose. So cute! So much hair! OMG. ...and Suz is almost back to her starting weight already. I can't believe it. She looks great.

Stayed at Suz's house 'til about 4 then to Publix. Got some deli meats, one point breads and some fruit and salad stuff. Came home. Made a sanny. The most delish sanny ever! Boarshead Rotisserie Chicken breast and Boarshead Londonport rare roast beef, and topped with Boarshead (lower sodium) sharp provolone. Open faced, and popped in the micro for a few seconds to melt the cheese. Can you say delish??? YUMMO.

So now, I'm back on my couch with the pups. Watching Cold Case. Getting ready to watch the August Rush DVD I got from Netflix. I'll let you know about the film tomorrow.

Today's picture. Isabella Rose of course!!! Gorg.

Rainy Saturday

I missed yoga this morning. I was so comfy in my bed that I just couldn't move. Finally, around 11:00am, I awoke to a rainy, dreary day. Cable guys came at 1. Not bad. The window was 11-2. Coulda been worse. We decided to switch from AT&T to Comcast (our cable company) to try their home phone service and we upgraded our internet access to high speed. It sounded good. Definitely cheaper. High speed seems faster. We'll see. Now we're on the couch watching "Roadhouse. (RIP Patrick Swayze) Sam Elliot is hot.

Tonight is dinner at the McFarland's. (Jenn, Stu and McKenzie) Stu's family are cattle ranchers and we are having "McFarland meat". Stu's been slow cooking a roast beef all freaking day. I can't wait!!! He's an awesome cook.

I met Jenn at work about 13 years ago. 1997 I think. She's beautiful, inside and out! My first week at the new job was overwhelming. Michael (my boss and best bud) and I were hired to run the managed money dept. No one upstairs where we sat did what we did, or even used the same computer program that we did, so if a question came up, I had no one to ask. I was on my own. Totally. It was so frustrating and I was on the verge a of breakdown every day. One day I came in to work and Jenn had tied a dozen balloons to my chair. LOL...yup, balloons. They were "hang in there" balloons. She's so cute. We've been friends ever since. She was only about 23 at the time. Now she's a mommy of McMc and "Boy" is on the way! Love those McFarlands. Here's your pic of the day.

McMc. Isn't she a beauty?

This is for Friday :)

Today was work. I don't know why it's been so busy lately. It's great that we are but I'm dyin' ovah here. Had chinese food for lunch. Steamed chicken, shrimp, veggies and some brown rice. Love. Then ran home. Walked the dogs and met Marc (Bro-in-law) and Grif (Neph) at "The Cuban Cafe" (yum) for Sangria Blanca (white sangria) Pechuga a la plancha. (Pounded iron grilled Chicken) y arroz y frijoles negra. (Rice and Black beans) Delish. (Mitch was working) I love this little place. It's in a business shopping center on 2nd. All the stores are closed after 6. You could definitely miss this place if you didn't know it was there...but once you know it, you'll be back!

After din din, Mitchy caught up with us at the movies. We went to Muvico and saw "Cop Out", the new Bruce Willis (Tracey Morgan) movie. Neph picked it. It was kinda cute. I just love being with the boys. For all their lives, my nephews lived in NJ and I lived in Florida. Now that they are slowly all moving down, (That's a story for another time...) I couldn't be happier. I am enjoying every second I spend with them. So I missed the diaper years and the soccer games, but they are here now and I ain't missing nothing! :) Love them.

After the movies Mitch and I came home,
we walked dogs and went to bed. This is the life!

Here's a picture of 2 of the 3 nephews. The 2 that are living down here in Florida full time.

Sir Grif and The Camster.

As the week winds down

Hi guys. Today was work. Very busy again. Then I went to hot yoga. Loved my teacher. Loved my class. Love my yoga. Home with the pups. Watching my Idols. Poor Ash. I liked her. Nothing much new today. Everything is status quo. Mitchy is working late tonight so I'm catching up on my shows and my eBay. It looks like business as usual here.

How's by youse guys?

Hmmmmm. I guess it's on to my daily photo. So without wasting anymore time, todays photo. Our 4th doggy. Unner Myer (Unno)

Idol chatter

Happy Wednesday. Today was work, (sooooo busy!) school, and more DVR. The hubs had dinner waiting for me at 9:00 pm when I got home. What a guy. After dinner, to the couch, facebook, eBay and I caught up on my American Idols. Girls are great. My top 6 are Didi, Lilly, Siobhan, Krystal, Ashley (she's gorgeous) and Michelle. As for the guys, well a bit weak, but there are a few good ones. I like Lee a lot. Aaron, Big Mike, Tyler and Andrew are OK. And can we discuss that Casey? Lordy is he cute or what? I love him. Definitely my favorite. So those are my top 12 picks.

As for my picture of the day...you saw Tobi yesterday, I'm guessing you'd like to see another dog maybe? May I introduce you to my littles. Miss Tallulah Belle and Jackson Jacomo Jacksonian.

How do!

3rd day of the blog and still going strong. Today was work, then out for yummo sushi at lunchtime, and then 90 minutes of Hot Yoga at 7:15pm. Now, I'm just hanging with the pups, watching American Idol on the DVR, blogging, eBaying and Facebooking.

Have any of you guys tried Hot Yoga yet? It's unbelievable. Look it up in your town and give it a try. You'll feel amazing.

I was thinking I needed to find a reason for this blog. Maybe a picture a day, or maybe restaurant reviews or TV talk. I'm a Gemini. I get bored easily, so I could lose my mind writing about the same thing each day. We'll see.

As for now, I guess a photo a day it is. This is my favorite little man. (Don't tell the others.) Feast your eyes upon the most gorgeous baby in the world. My love. Tobias Maurice.

I almost forgot...

...that I started a blog last night, but here I am. Today was work. Weight Watchers. (Lost 1/2) and then Homeowners Association Board meeting. I volunteered for some stuff, but not ready to commit to be on the board yet. Mitch is working late, and I am hanging out with the dogs watching TV. This is the life...

Oh, I know... one thing I forgot to tell you yesterday...I had lunch with Sheri Rosen. Who's Sheri Rosen you ask? Only one of my oldest friends in the world. We met when we were in 4th grade. Sheri was my neighbor, my bunkmate in camp, my confidant, my pal, my bike partner, my Trick-o-Treating partner, my girl. Sheri freaking Rosen. Can you even understand the magnitude? I think not. I moved to Florida in 10th grade, and haven't seen Sheri since. But as of yesterday, she's back in my life! Sheri Rosen! Who'da thunk?

And so it begins

Hello. Welcome to my new little home on the web.

For years, I've heard people talking about blogs, blogging, whatever, and today, while watching "Law Abiding Citizen", (very good by the way!) in my living room, (Netflix) I decided to sniff around the net and find out a little more about the how's, where's and why's of all this blogging stuff. And so it begins.

I have nothing to "get off my chest". I have no dark past I need to "understand". I don't have a new baby, a new job, a new car or even a new dog to share pictures of. In fact, I'm not sure that I'm really even that interesting. So why you might ask, would I start a blog? No idea.

Actually, now that I think about it, last week I rented "Julie and Julia". It was cute. Not a "must see" but a "kinda cute if you do see it" movie. The main gist of the movie was about blogging. That's probably why we are here today. I say "we" in the loosest sense of the word, because I'm guessing no one's really out there reading this but me. In any case, I will try to write as often as possible and I will try to be as interesting as possible (obviously that will start on entry #2) and who knows what can happen?

Maybe someone out there will appreciate my sarcastic, simple, lovable personality, and comment and write, and I will make a new friend.

Or, maybe I will see that my life is really all about nothing and I will make life changes and create and invent and design and become so interesting I get invited to be on some late night talk show.

Or, maybe I already am extraordinary, and my blogs will dazzle the senses, and my little piece of cyber space will have hits galore, and I get sponsors and become rich and famous and I get invited to be on some late night talk show. ...but I digress.
