Work was crazy! Bossman was there 'til lunchtime. We were busy! Then he left and I did some more work, and then went to lunch with Katie. Bluefin Sushi. Had a Boca Roll, a spicy yellowtail handroll and a salad. Delish! We had the best time today! Katie had her MIL's car. ...an old Jaguar she calls Old Betsy. Old Betsy has a cassette player, and she was equipped with a cassette that had been Katie's FIL's. (He actually passed away over a year ago, but his musical choices live on!) RIP. So it was Katie and I, riding high in Old Betsy, blasting the Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond duet "You don't bring me flowers anymore" ...and we took turns singing. She was Barbra (of Course) and I was Neil.

We were peeing. This guy in a construction truck was stopped at the light with us and laughing too. We had so much fun. Then back to my pile of work. ...and back to my pile of filing. I love my work bestie! She's a nut!

My Daddy is still in pain.
