Project 365. A year in pictures. A new photo each day. ...or not.

10/31/10

Happy Halloween!

Today is October 31, 2010. Halloween. I don't know why, but I have always loved Halloween. Not for the scary aspect, just for the dressing up, and candy parts. Red hots, sweet tarts, candy corn and pizza. Yum! OK, so we ordered the pizza, but the rest we got from trick or treating! Hubs went to work to day at 7am. I had the day to myself. I had a blast. I carved a pumpkin.

Then I baked Halloween cupcakes.

I even made chocolate fingers, a mummy and scary pumpkins! Yes I did! I melted all different colors of chocolate and I created. So much fun!!!

After all my cooking and baking, I started to work on my costume. I was Flo, from Progressive Insurance.

Hubs, was Mayhem, from Allstate. We were sporting the Insurance theme. How hot is that??? ...Hotter than a European shoulder bag? I think not!

Then, as the sun went down, and it began to get dark outside, I put on the Halloween CD (Scary sounds) and sat on the porch waiting to give the kids candy. We had a skeleton, a power ranger, an angel, a butterfly, some devils, a bat, some kitties, Dracula, Cinderella, and a prisoner. I love this stuff!

Then we got a visit from Sissy, Little, Middle and big along with a few of their friends...

There's Middle on the left, with his friends, the cast of Ain't Misbehavin!

Here's big. He was an elephant today, but decided to wear Little's nerd glasses for this evenings festivities.

Little was a nerd, but tonight he was just a kid, in shorts and a t shirt, and had no interest in being in a photo.

My cute little Sis was a biker chick. She took her jacket off for this picture, but she had lots of studs and toughness on tonight. She was adorable!

Hope you guys spent an enjoyable holiday with lots of fun, friends, food and family!!!
