Today was good, for a Monday. I got to my desk and there was a bag waiting for me. My friend Ilsa had brought in a bag of avocados. About 7 years ago she planted seeds. The seeds grew to become a bush. The bush became a tree. The tree was planted and flourished. She made it through Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Wilma and Hurricane Ivan with no physical scars except her crooked trunk. Beautiful fruit made even more beautiful when they are gifts from a friend. Then, another friend came by. She had gotten her haircut over the weekend and she brought me all her hair goodies. Clips, and clamps and curlers ...oh my! LOL Sweet that she thought of me too. Thank you love!

Forgot to tell you that I bought a new pair of shoes this weekend. Pony hair. Awesome!

Had dinner with the family at Temped, a great sushi place we love. Now home. On the couch with the pups. Waiting for Hubs to come home.
