Today was such a busy day! I got up at 7am to begin party preparations for Jenn's "Sprinkle". Warmed my noodle kugel, cut my carrot cake, made my fruit trifle made coffee, regular and decaf, poured all the juices in their proper pitchers, lit yummy smelling candles...Then at 9 the first guest came in. Started preparing all her things, and the next at 9:30, and then at 10 the people started coming. We had about 20 girls here, and I thought it was beautiful. Jenn's friend had brought fabric pens and onesie. We all sat at the designated craft table and began creating. It was fun. I took pictures, made sure everyone ate, and poured champagne, added peach nectar and fresh strawberries. Bellini's for everyone. Not Jenn of course. She had sparkling grape juice. Jenn's alucky girl. She has a large group of family and friends who adore her. Everyone was out by 1:30. Nice morning. Good party.

Then...and 6pm, Cousins Steve an Kris came from Tampa with two of their three kids, Sam and Sofia. Little Emilee stayed in Tampa. They are going on a cruise tomorrow, and Em's too little. A few minutes later, Marc and Grif and Cam came over. We all sat around yapping for about 2 hours, and then we went to Lemongrass for dinner. Great little Asian Bistro in the 'hood. Chicken satay, peanut chicken, sushi, Thai curry. Yum. They have a great menu. If you're in the Boca Raton area, you should definitely try this place. Delish. Speaking of which...I ate too much kugel and party food. I am going to yoga tomorrow and not Weight Watchers. Too embarrassed to hear how much I gained again this week. I need to pull myself together.
