Project 365. A year in pictures. A new photo each day. ...or not.

Spent the day with my man!

Hey there. Hope you are all enjoying a lovely weekend. Our day was fun! Mitchy and I ran around doing errands. Tomorrow I, with the help of her sister in law Jenny and her friend, am throwing a baby shower for my friend Jenn, so we ran around doing some last minute shopping for food, gifts and decorations. It's actually a "sprinkle", and not a full shower. This is Jenn's second child, and at the request of her friend, we're making her a "sprinkle". Cute.

We also got nails and waxing, Dunkin' Doughnuts and stopped at the Green Market. Griffy was volunteering there so we stopped by for a kiss. We also ended up with some stone crab claws (6), fresh herbs, basil and arugula, from a local farm, fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices, homemade mini mozzarella balls, and beautiful gladiolas.

After running around I made a noodle kugel and then we went to the theater. Tonight's show was "The Color Purple". I wasn't too excited to see it, but as things usually go, I enjoyed it a lot! When you least expect it! The show was really great! I also haven't been keeping up with my movie reviews. We have seen 3 movies lately. We saw "An Education". Nice. The young girl who played the lead was nominated for an Oscar. She was great! The movie was one of those "character development" movies that usually bore me, but this was pretty good. We also saw "A Perfect Getaway". We loved it! It takes place in Hawaii so it was visually appealing. (I love color!) ...the story was not new, but it was still a good movie. Friday night we watched Clint Eastwood in "Gran Torino". AWESOME! If you haven't seen it, you should.

That's it for now. Gonna get some sleep.
Jenn's friend decided to call the "sprinkle" for 10am. Kill me now.
I love my sleepy Sundays! Sure will miss it this week.
Anything for Jenn. I love her! She's one of my besties.
