I was too tired last night to describe in detail the spectacular affair my cousins made on Saturday night. I don't think my writing is good enough for you to properly visualize how beautiful everything was. (That's why I take photographs) ...but since I don't have too many pictures, I'll have to try to use words. We arrived at "TWO", a sleek, modern, urban sushi/steak place. There was music playing. The neon lights bounced off the steel counter tops as we passed them. We
took the elevator down a floor. When the doors opened, we were embraced by a dark glow of steel and grey and a room filled with music, laughter and love. White gloved attendants came by offering quesadilla, steak on skewers, sweet potatoes, sushi and the ultimate pork belly sandwich along with ZOEtinis! (Champagne and Chambord, I think) Everything was amazing. There were photographers taking green screen shots, (That's where they take a photo of you and then they super impose any background you choose - We picked Vegas and Times Square!) They also had artists painting baseball caps and airbrushing cell phone cases as gifts for the guests. Awesome! As we moved closer to the main party room, there was a 3-D neon board with our names and table number shining through. As the doors opened to the main room, the blackened first room transformed into an illuminated piece of heaven. The dance floor was a steel hologram, and there were big white plastic cubes of different sizes, all lit up by

changing colored lights that we danced on. There were couches and chairs made of white plastic with the same colored lights. They had a DJ and three dancers.

Hot chaffing dishes filled with food were scattered throughout the room for the kids. As you walked further into the room, there were panels of flowing chiffon, with sparkling beads. They were used as a room divider....behind the flowing panels was another room. It was for the adults to sit and have dinner. There were 6 tables with glass tops placed upon those fabulous plastic cubes with lights. Couple those tables with the beautiful florals arranged in crystal orbs, and the flickering of light from the surrounding candles and hopefully you can picture the brilliant essence of the evening. Everything just glowed. It was perfect. We danced, and sang, and did the Hora (circle dance), and ate. Boy did we eat! Seared tuna salad, Duck, Braised short ribs, and Montauk fish. After all that, the servers came around again and passed desserts like hors d'oeuvres. Mini bread puddings, apple pies and my favorite, hot munchkins. It was just the most wonderful evening. The family was all together, singing dancing eating and enjoying every second of our time together. It couldn't have been more perfect!

We got home around 1:00am and put on our PJ's and washed up. As we got into bed, Lisa and Zach came in, hopped on Mommy and Daddy's bed and hung out with us chatting about the evenings happenings.
(Love that!)
Then, Sunday morning came, we got dressed and ...can you guess? Went to eat! Yes, we were treated to an amazing Sunday brunch at the Village Club of Sands Point. The brunch was

in the dining hall which was once the summer home of the Guggenheim Family. It's called "The Mansion". No words. So breathtaking.
After brunch, we hugged and kissed, cried a little, and then headed for the airport. BIL, little, middle and big nephs were flying to a different airport than me, so we went our separate ways after brunch. Sissy is staying in the city 'til Friday. Mom and Dad went home and the world is back to the way we know it. At least for now.

A great time was had by all.
Thank you Lisa and Zach.
Zozo you were a star!
Remaliscious (Remi) you are fantastic!
