Work was nice. Bossman and LBM (Little Bossman) were out today. LBM just got back from Greece! I can't wait to hear all about his trip. Greece and Italy are my two dream destinations. Especially Santorini! It looks so gorgeous! All those blue roofs. ...but I digress.

Over to the left is an antique ostrich egg. It has been in my family for quite some time now. I believe we acquired it back in the late 60's early 70's. My Mom and Dad used the amazing decorator team of Michael DeSantis and Richard Farrell to furnish our home. These guys picked out only the best, top notch things. My Mom and Dad decorated with such amazing items that House Beautiful and Better Homes and Gardens, popular home decor publications, featured our house in their magazines. I remember when they came and took pictures of my parents bathroom.

I can't tell you what wonderful taste my Mom has. She's a class act. And these guys helped her find things I'm sure she didn't even know existed. Together, they made our home a showplace. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you both, Mom and Dad. Thank you for making a beautiful home for us to grow up in. Thank you for your patience and love when, at times, I may have fallen short of your expectations. Thank you for always understanding that even though I was a little cracked, I was still a good egg.

...and speaking of eggs. I broke one of yours. No longer a pair. Now we only have one. Love you.
