Project 365. A year in pictures. A new photo each day. ...or not.

5/10/10

Today was work.
Lunch was leftover brunch food.
I have to get my eating back on track. I'm eating too much.
I still have weight to lose and I can't stop now!
As far as my bad eating...yesterday's brunch was just a part of the problem.

First, lemme share some people pics.

My Hubby and his mom.

Mitchy's gorgeous grandma, Mildred. She's my Grandma now too!

Here we all are... the three mommas

My FIL sat at the desk speaking in Don Corleone's voice.

Here's the pretty table I set for our mother's Day Champagne Brunch.
Can you see the pretty dark purple/blue orchids? Gorgeous.

Now the food...
Everything looks beige in the pictures, but lemme tell you...yummo!!!

This little beige orange beauty is the Cracker Barrel Restaurants "(not so) secret" recipe for hash browns. One bite uses up all my points...for the WEEK! But dayum! So good. Thank you to Tracy Maslow Francesco for her suggestion of this wonderdish! Write me if you want the secret recipe!

These little cuties are spiced apples. 4 huge Granny Smiths, peeled, cored and cut in quarters. Butter. cinnamon & nutmeg. They tasted like the inside of an apple pie. Delish!

...and this lasagna looking item is...well, I guess it could be called a breakfast casserole.
It had Brie cheese, hot sausage, bread, cream, well, you don't need to know the gory details, just know it was amazing! ...thank you to my friend Jacque Houston. She's my food coach. Healthy ideas and words of wisdom for regular days, and lots of tasty ideas for holidays!

After the family left, I was actually gonna take a nap, but around 5pm I got a call from Little Neph, who asked if he could come over! OF COURSE HE COULD!!!! So, no nap, but lots of fun! He came over, and we watched "Rush Hour 2.' ...Then we played with the Wii. We made new Avatars. Played tennis and baseball. We bowled. Cami golfed. It was fun!

Then later his big brother, Middle Neph, came by...
The brother that just got his license.
...and hasn't been home too much since!

As his Dad said...
Getting your first Driver's License $40
Receiving all car related birthday gifts $200
Going out every night since then $100
Spending Mother's Day sleeping... Priceless.

I would laugh, but my arm is killing me from Wii bowling
...and it hurts too much to laugh. Ouch!
