Middle neph got his driver's license!

Today was work. Had an egg white omelette with american cheese. Didn't want to eat too much 'cause tonight was yummo birthday dinner for middle neph's 17th! Went to Chops Lobster Bar at 7. My sissy, bro in law, little neph and middle neph were there. So were bro in laws parents. My Sissys in laws. The restaurant was beautiful. I had a beet and arugula salad and a veal chop. He got lots of gifts. I love having family close by. There were a lot of years without a family of my own. I had the Jewish holidays at Aunt Rena and Uncle Stu's, or with Lauri's family, and birthdays were always celebrated with friends, (I still love that!) and Mother's day, Father's day, Memorial day, etc, were always spent with other people's families. I love that they all always included me, but it's real nice to have a family of my own.

Now we need my parents to move down... and Lynne and Rick, and Debbie and Piv and the kids, and Ellen and the kids and Ilene and family...
