Project 365. A year in pictures. A new photo each day. ...or not.

Beautiful Saturday

Hello faithful readers. I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend. Mitch and I are having a nice Saturday. We got up around 9ish. Mitchy left to pick up his fruit for tomorrow's deliveries. I left the house at 10 to meet up with the board of my neighborhood to take pictures of the "Flocking" as my 1st duty as committee member extraordinaire! :) It's actually a cute idea, this "Flocking" thing. Way back in 1960, the year I was born, builders were constructing attractive homes in Boca Raton, FL. These homes, still standing and beautiful today, are where my hubby and I live. That being said... our neighborhood is celebrating 50 years, as am I! So...our theme around the 'hood is the 60's.. Everything retro. This morning, in an effort to bring some excitement to the residents, we placed 127 pink flamingos outside of the homes of the residents that have paid their yearly membership dues. Next week is our annual meeting and we are having a "Beach Party". So cute!

After my flamingo morning, and after Mitchy got home from Del Monte, we went over to my Sister's. I helped unpack more boxes, while Mitch and Griffin washed cars, Cami played tennis, and Marc played golf. We ordered lunch in from the club, and we played and bonded. Then Sloaney left to go back to NJ for a few days, but she will be back Friday! This time with Brandon! Yay.

After she left, Mitch and I did a few errands, came back to a clean house, (Thanks Rita!) and then we went for sushi. Now we're home, watching the John Cusack movie 2012. Reviews on the movie tomorrow.

Enjoy the night! xoxo
